I’m am so sad to hear this and even sadder that I have only just found out and missed the farewells by 1 day. He was the best teacher EVER and I and others will never forget him, he deserves to be an angel in heaven.

Dearest Mr Lindley. Simply the best and most favourite teacher I ever had.
I will always remember you for your kindness and ability to make learning fun. The joy and knowledge you brought into my life will never be forgotten.
Always happy with your guitar or accordion , singing along to a few songs and never without a packet or two of 'ESMs' !
Thank you Mr Lindley - you were one of a kind and I will never forget you.
Rest in Peace xx

We'll really miss Ted in the village. He was always the life and soul of any gathering. We had good chats on our way to his appointments and he always left me feeling cheery. We had a shared love of chocolate too. A lovely friend, much missed. Sue Cole
